Agreement

These terms govern your use of joeckel.design, the websites we build for clients, and our email and SMS messaging programs. By using our site or providing your email or phone number, you agree to these terms.

Services

We build websites and mobile apps for local businesses on a subscription model. Initial preview builds are free of charge. Active hosting plans start at $49/month and include domain, SSL, hosting, monitoring, and a set number of monthly updates. Pricing details are at joeckel.design. Cancel any time; you keep your domain and content.

SMS messaging program

Program name: joeckel.design website inquiry and service updates.

What you'll receive: SMS related to your website inquiry (follow-ups, preview links), service updates if you become a client (renewal reminders, downtime notices), and replies to messages you initiate.

Message frequency: varies — typically fewer than 5 messages per month, more during an active project.

Message & data rates may apply. Standard carrier rates for text messages and mobile data apply to messages you send and receive. Joeckel Design does not charge for the messages themselves.

How to opt in: by submitting the contact form at joeckel.design with a phone number, or by texting START to (920) 724-4472.

How to opt out: reply STOP to any message. You'll receive one confirmation message and no further texts. You can opt back in any time by texting START.

Supported carriers: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and most regional carriers in the United States. We do not currently support international SMS.

Carrier disclaimer: Wireless carriers (including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Email messaging

We send email related to your inquiry, service updates, and occasional cold outreach to publicly listed businesses we think we can help. Every cold outreach email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Replying STOP to a marketing email also opts you out.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Provide a phone number or email address that isn't yours
• Use our forms or services to harass or defraud anyone
• Attempt to interfere with the site, the API, or the SMS service

No warranty

joeckel.design and our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep client sites online and updated, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, our liability for any claim arising from these terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Brown County, Wisconsin.

Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes to the SMS program will be communicated to subscribers in advance.
